Amy Jones, 38, of Tahlequah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024, in Tahlequah. She was born on July 17, 1986, in Sheridan, Wyo. to Dodie Sue (Hansen) Bomar and Kenneth Irving Mahaffy.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Jones was worked for Child Protective Services at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services in Muskogee. She was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and Tech Sgt. for Air National Guard 138th Security Forces Squadron.
She was married to Jared Jones on March 17, 2008, in Shamrock, Texas.
Survivors are her husband, Jared; daughter, Mackenzie Jones of Moore; sons, Blaine Jones and Natalee Porter of West Point, N.Y., and Colten Jones of the home; mother, Dodie Bomar of Sheridan; father, Ken Mahaffy of Story, Wyo.; brother, Mark Mahaffy of Spokane, Wash.; in-laws, Jan and Dean Caughman of Sallisaw; brothers-in-law, Tyler Caughman and Katie of Coweta and Jon Jones and Kelsie of Sallisaw; sister-in-law, Jordan Jones of Sallisaw; grandmother-in-law, Ann Miller of Sallisaw; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather-inlaw, Bud Miller.
