CASC Lady Vikings runners-up at University of the Ozarks Invitational

CLARKSVILLE, Ark. — The Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings cross country team came in second at Saturday’s University of the Ozarks Invitational.

The Lady Vikings scored 49 points, finishing behind the host University of the Ozarks Lady Eagles who scored 35 points.

Two Lady Vikings made the top five as Calli Connally was third (19:27.7) and Lindsey Wortham was fifth (20:08.5), while Alexe Pickle made the top 15 as she was 13th (22:10.4).

Eliana Berger made the top 20 to be the fourth medalist for the Lady Vikings as she was 18th (22:43).

Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Kennady Moore was 21st (23:04.5), followed by Lin Lee in 23rd place (23:21.8), Aubrey Pursell in 24th place (23:23.2), Jacie Moffett in 27th place (23:46.8), Margaret Poahwauy in 31st place (24:35.5) and Destiny Lawson in 38th place (27:15.8).

The Lady Vikings will be idle until the 2024 NJCAA Regional Meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 26 in Bentonville, Ark.
