Muldrow softball team loses to Eufaula, Panama

A walk-off, gamewinning hit by Eufaula’s Kate Pippenger lifted the Lady Ironheads to a 5-4 win over the Muldrow Lady Bulldogs on Sept. 3 in Eufaula.

The Lady Bulldogs scored once in the top of the frame to tie the game at 4-all.

In defeat, Kesslyn Pratt was 2-for-2, Amaya Duran doubled with a run batted in and Kaydence Young doubled with an RBI and a run scored for Muldrow.

Young (2-4) took the loss, despite recording seven strikeouts in sixplus innings.

On Friday, the Lady Bulldogs lost 8-1 to the visiting Panama Lady Razorbacks.

The Lady ’Backs broke a scoreless tie with a run in the fourth inning, four runs in the fifth inning, a single run in the sixth inning and two runs in the seventh inning for an 8-0 lead.

The lone run for the Lady Bulldogs (6-8) scored in the seventh inning on a two-out, RBI single by Amarie Duran, scoring Eve Keenan.

The Lady Bulldogs were four-hit as Amarie Duran was 2-for-4 with an RBI single, while Keenan was 2-for-3 with a run scored for Muldrow.

Jaydin Dean (4-4) took the loss, going four innings. Young went the other three innings with four Ks.
