Seven-Year Storm in the Forecast

Seven-Year Storm in the Forecast
By Shirley R. Watts

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is”(Mark 13:32-33). “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (I Cor. 15:52-53). Jesus said to John “Surely I am coming quickly” (Revelation 22:20).

Warning

Sirens, shelters, storms! What does this remind you of? There are always some who will ignore the warning and later find themselves, crying for help.

Many say “it will miss us,” or they are slow to heed the warning. The storm comes and they are not prepared.

This reminds me of the days of Noah. People did not believe Noah. He prepared for the flood. It rained and it flooded the earth! (Genesis 6-9).

God has sounded the warning of the great storm that is approaching. He has warned us since the day Adam was found guilty of disobedience and cast out of the Garden. That same warning is still being heard around the world. Judgment is coming! Is anyone listening?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Shelter

Jesus tells us the storm is coming and what it will be like (Matt. 24-25). He is our only “safe-room.” People will run to caves trying to hide from the great storm, but it will do no good (Rev.6:16).

Christians

Jesus, our shelter! He protects us in this life and He is our protection from the great storm (The Seven Year Tribulation) that is coming to this world (Rev. 3:10). Yes, the true believers are taken up just before the storm. Amen!

Praise the Lord. What a great, mighty and awesome God we serve. Let’s love Him and live for Him daily as we warn others of the seven-year storm ahead. Millions will not listen, but there will be many who will and we are commanded to go! Go ye into the world!!! (Matt. 28:19-20) Continue to sound the alarm and God’s Holy Spirit will do the convicting and converting! Home

One day God will sound a trumpet and only the true believers will hear it. He will come and take us home. We are secure! (I Thess. 1:10) “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God” (I Thess. 4:16). What a glorious day it will be! “in the twinkling of an eye,” (I Cor. 15:52). The real power shortage will begin! Amen!

Whosoever

Jesus is still calling people to Himself. He is coming soon! Secure your future today. Do as the Psalmist did “I will trust in the shelter of Your wings” (Psalm 61:4). Don’t be one who says: “I’ll do it later” or “I don’t need Jesus.” If you are reading this, you still have time to ask forgiveness and place your faith in Him. You can be safe and secure for all eternity. The storm is coming whether you prepare or not.

When I hear thunder in a storm, I am reminded that God is speaking and He is saying “I am alive and I am in control.” He wants us to take shelter in His Son. You will find this shelter at the foot of the cross as you bow your heart to Him, trusting Him and walking away to live for Him as you begin to warn others and sharing His love. Let’s warn every person.

Ready or Not

Are you ready for what is ahead? Please take the warning serious, prepare yourself and family. God loves you, He created you and you are special to Him. Trust Him today! “He heard the sound of the trumpet, but did not take warning; his blood shall be upon himself. But he who takes warning will save his life”(Ezekiel 33:5).

Seek shelter today and be safe from the storm!

Jesus the “refuge from the storm” (Isaiah 25:b).

Christian, Are you ready?
