Memorial services for Michael “Jason” Pegg, 52, of Brushy were held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at First Christian Church in Sallisaw. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Pegg was born on April 18, 1972, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Cherry Lynn (Carlton) Sanders and Michael Lewis Pegg. He passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Tulsa.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and target practicing. He loved working on cars with his son and motorcycle riding.
Survivors are wife, Glenda Branham Pegg; son, Michael Kristofer Pegg; daughter, Kayla Lynn Pegg; three grandsons; brother, Jonathan Scott Pegg and wife Natasha; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and older brother, Chad Renfro.
Honorary pallbearers were Jack Lineberry, Mark Ballinger, Jason “Eddie” Wiley and Dewayne Burgess.
