Gans Elementary School will have preenrollment for Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, and Kindergarten students on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Margaret Hastings Elementary Building.

For current students who will be returning, pre-enrollment for the 2024-25 school year may be done online. AU new Pre-K and Kindergarten students must be enrolled in person.

To enroll a child, the parent must bring an original birth certificate, updated shot records, Social Security card and CDIB card if applicable.

The child must be potty trained and 3 years old on or before Sept. 1 for Pre-K 3 and 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 for Pre-K 4.

Kindergarten children must be age 5 on or before Sept. 1. All documents must be present at the time of enrollment or your child’s enrollment cannot be completed.

The state of Oklahoma requires the following shots before a child may enter school.

To enroll in Pre-K classes, students must have the following shots: four DTaP, three Polia, one MMR, three Hep S, two Hep A, and one Varicella. To enroll in Kindergarten, students must have five DTaP, four Polio, two MMR, three Hep B, two Hep A, and one Varicella.
