Muldrow resident joins Baptist Health Cardiology Center

Dana Moss, APRN, recently joined Baptist Health Cardiology Center-Fort Smith. In her new role, Moss will provide care for cardiology patients at Baptist Health-Fort Smith. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in December of 2021. Most recently she worked at a gastroenterology clinic. Moss has 10 years of patient-centered nursing care which includes more than four years of critical care experience. She sees herself as a patient advocate and emphasizes collaboration in her practice.

“Health care is always evolving, so I am continuously learning and striving to improve my patient care and treat-ment practices,” Moss said. “I also feel that it is important to teach my patients as I talk with them about their disease processes and treatment plans, to help them better understand their diagnosis and what their plan of care is.”

Moss and her husband live in Muldrow with their three dogs. The couple enjoys spending time with their two sons and daughterin- law, as well as going to car shows and local cruise nights.
