Phil Vassar to perform at Cherokee Casino Roland on Oct. 14

Celebrated for his chart-topping melodies, renowned artist Phil Vassar heads to Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 9 p.m.

Boasting an impressive collection of 10 No. 1 singles and 27 Top 40 hits, Vassar is recognized by his memorable tracks like “Carlene,” “Just Another Day in Paradise,” “Six-Pack Summer” and “When I Love You” that have solidified his status as a musical powerhouse.

Vassar’s current “Piano Bar Tour” promises an intimate yet exhilarating experience that spans coast to coast. Expect a musical throwback to Vassar’s early days, with a mix of his iconic hits and soulful covers inspired by music icons.

Vassar’s illustrious songwriting career blossomed in the mid‘90s, marked by a pivotal publishing contract made with EMI. Vassar penned chart-toppers for acclaimed artists like Collin Raye, Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina and Blackhawk. His record deal with Arista in 1998 catapulted his solo career, earning him two ASCAP Songwriter of the Year awards, ACM’s Top New Male Vocalist, and a loyal fan base with sold-out shows nationwide.

Vassar not only captivates audiences with his music but also hosts his own TV show, “Songs From the Cellar,” airing on Circle Network. Tune in to witness captivating conversations and musical collaborations with today’s brightest stars, all hosted by Vassar’s laid-back charm and quick wit.
