Just before 5 p.m. last Monday, the Roland Fire Department was reportedly dispatched to a structure fire at Edwards Auto Sales in Roland. Upon arrival, firefighters found a shop building located behind the business on fire, which was quickly extinguished. Pawfficer Fuzz with the Fort Smith Police Department Community Relations Unit visited with Muldrow’s police cat, Ms. Kitty last week at the Muldrow Police Department, even bringing her a bag of goodies.
The Sequoyah County Courthouse reopened last Monday to the public. Those who have business with county offices on the first floor of the building are asked to wear a mask and obey all the other rules which can be seen on signs located at the entrance, Ray Watts, Chairman of the Board of Sequoyah County Commissioners, said.
