Muldrow senior ties school record in winning high jump, sets new school record in 100-meter dash at Hilldale

MUSKOGEE — Muldrow’s Teaguen Collins placed in four events. His winning leap of 6-8 in the high jump tied a school record, while this third-place time in the 100-meter dash of 10.94 seconds set the school record. He also was runner-up in long jump (19-6), while he was fourth in the 200-meter dash (22.28).

As for other Bulldogs, Brayden Roe was seventh in the shot put (39-8), Zaylenny Williams was 15th in the long jump (18-0.5), Gabe Smalley was 23rd (24.38 seconds) and Williams was 48th (26.47) in the 200-meter dash, Smalley was 25th (11.93) and Williams was 34th (12.09) in the 100-meter dash, Caden Grinstead was 30th (1:00.57) and Linus Pigg was 34th (1:02.08).

For the Lady Bulldogs individually, Emma Fields had the highest finish as she was sixth in the 3,200-meter run (14:59.13).

As for other Muldrow girls, Tiphany Martinez was seventh in the 800-meter run (2:52.18), 17th in the 400-meter dash (1:13.86) and 21st in the long jump (12-9), Lilah-Grace Willsey was eighth in the 100-meter hurdles (17.87 seconds), ninth in the 300-meter hurdles (55.16) and 13th in the long jump (14-6.5) and Adysen Beller was 44th in the 100-meter dash (15.17) and 47th in the 200-meter dash (33.19).

The Lady Bulldogs’ 3,200-meter relay team of Fields, Crystal Harrison, Martinez and Genna Stephenson was fourth (11:57.12).

The Muldrow teams will compete in their final regular- season meet of the seasons as they will compete in the Inola Invitational that will begin at 9 a.m. Friday.
