The Central Tigers went 3-1 last week, posting a 65-50 win over Wister on Feb. 3 at Jerry Carpenter Memorial Gymnasium, a 51-47 Big 8 Conference home win Feb. 4 over Howe and a 60-23 road win over Gans on Thursday night at Bryant “Big Country” Reeves Fieldhouse. The only blemish was a 64-35 home loss to Muldrow on Saturday afternoon at the Central Gym.

The Lady Tigers went 2-2 last week, duplicating the boys’ wins over Wister by a score of 5033 on Feb. 3 and a 5215 victory over Gans on Thursday night at Bryant “Big Country” Reeves Fieldhouse.

However, the Lady Tigers fell 75-34 in a home Big 8 Conference game to Howe on Feb. 4 and lost 50-38 to Muldrow on Saturday afternoon.

The ’Dogs ended the quarter with a 4-2 run, capped by Parker Sevenstar’s basket with 1:30 remaining in the period to put Muldrow ahead 14-8 after the end of the first quarter. However, that ended up being the last point of the game in which the content was a close one.
