Theresa Cullum Lockhart Comer

May 9, 1947 – July 25, 2024

Funeral services for Theresa Cullum Lockhart Comer, 77, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Fleetwood Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on May 9, 1947, in Hanson to Ruby Elizabeth (Anderson) Cullum and James Everett “Buck” Cullum. She passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Stilwell.

She graduated from Sallisaw High School, and spent a number of years as a volunteer 4-H leader and church youth sponsor.

Survivors are her children, Terry Franklin and Colleen of Sallisaw; Fran Lockhart of Sallisaw, Liz Brown and Craig of Stilwell and Roger Lockhart and Lynn of Sallisaw; 12 grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and several other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Buck and Ruby Cullum; five sisters, Euna Coker, Mary Turner, Eva Gillam, Betty Bradshaw and Gladys Adamson; and four brothers, Carl, James, Freddie and Frank.

Pallbearers were Roger Haneberg, Zyan Haneberg, Austin Lockhart, Terry Franklin, Craig Brown, Chris Franklin and Peter Cullum In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fleetwood Cemetery, PO Box 476, Sallisaw OK 74955 or Adair County 4-H/FFA Booster Club Scholarship, 467281 Hwy. 100 West, Stilwell, OK 74960.
