Norma Perceful Kennedy

Sept. 23, 1938 – Dec. 24, 2023

Funeral services for Norma Perceful Kennedy, 85, of Muldrow, were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at House of Refuge in Gans. Burial followed at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Kennedy was born on Sept. 23, 1938, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Martha (Reed) Garner and William Jesse Lee Garner. She died on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, in Muldrow.

She was married to Robert J. Kennedy. He preceded her in death.

She was a housekeeper for Sparks Hospital and of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors are five daughters, Nadine Denny and Ronnie of Greasy, Diane Dewitt and Doyle of Roland, Debbie Goff and Daniel of Muldrow, Melody Ward of Roland and Melissa Hollis and Ricky of Redland; four sons, David Perceful and Elaine of New Hope, Mike Ward of Roland, Damon Perceful and Mary of Roland and Kendall Perceful and Lee Ann of Belfonte; 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Cecil Garner and Onada of Lavaca, Ark.; and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Ward; second husband, Charles E. Perceful; and her parents.

Pallbearers were Steven Dewitt, Darrell Dewitt, Justin Denny, Tyler Perceful, Joe Perceful and Josh Perceful.

Honorary pallbearers were John Gibson, Eric Hill, Cody Hollis, Chad Goff and Kris Attee.
