The Bulldogs fell 7-2 at home to the Wildcats last Tuesday after losing 13-2 last Monday in McIntosh

Jacob Claborn’s RBI single in the bottom of the first inning helped Muldrow grab a 2-1 lead last Tuesday but the visiting Wildcats went in front for good with a pair of runs in the second frame on their way to the district win.
The Wildcats added a run apiece to their 4-1 lead with single runs in the third and fourth frames and two in the sixth.
The Bulldogs’ Konnor Wight had a triple and a single in his four plate appearances and recording a hit apiece for Muldrow were Rylan Walters, Eli Crumrine, Garett Welcher and Claborn.
Walters and Claborn each stole two bases in the contest and Wight had one.
Clancy Campbell, Matt Clover and Caden Martin had two hits apiece for Checotah and Campbell drove in two runs.
Muldrow’s Javier Alvarez (3.0 innings) allowed five hits and four earned runs while striking out two and walking one while taking the loss, Breckin Allen (2.1) gave up four hits and three earned runs while striking out one and walking two and Claborn (1.2) struck out three while allowing no hits, earned runs or walks.
Martin (6.0) picked up the win after giving up five hits and two earned runs while striking out 10 and walking two and Matt Clover (1.0) allowed one hit and struck out two in relief.

The Bulldogs couldn’t overcome Checotah’s 6-0 lead last Monday in Muldrow’s season opener as the host Wildcats downed the Bulldogs in the district game.
Muldrow got on the board with a run in the top of the fourth but the Wildcats responded with five runs in the bottom of the frame.
In the fifth and final inning Checotah outscored the Bulldogs 2-1.
Breckin Allen went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double for Muldrow in the game and Eli Crumrine and Konnor Wight, who drove in a run, each had one hit.
Crumrine and Bryson Limore stole a base apiece in the contest for Muldrow.
Checotah’s top three hitters (two apiece) were Hayden Price, Colten Burnett (two doubles) and Harley Hamm, who drove in three runs. Blaine Smith also had three RBIs for the Wildcats in the game.
Muldrow’s Jerico Leathers (3.0 innings) allowed six hits and six earned runs while striking out seven and walking three, Garett Welcher (1.0) gave up three hits and four earned runs while walking three and Lex Sharp (0.2) allowed three hits and two earned runs while striking out two and walking one.
Price (4.2) gave up four hits and one earned run while striking out 11 and walking six and in relief for Checotah and Caden Martin (0.1) struck out one and walked one.
