Former Muldrow softball player helps NEO split with Labette

PARSONS, Kan. — Former Muldrow Lady Bulldogs softball player Danica Tune and the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Lady Norse split last Thursday afternoon’s road doubleheader against Labette Community College, winning the nightcap 12-3 after losing the opener 9-0 in six innings.

In the nightcap, Tune had a hit in two at-bats after walking once in the opener.

The Lady Norse (84) were slated to play a Tuesday road twinbill at Neosho County Community College before two home doubleheaders at Eric Iverson Field in Miami to close out the week — at 1 this afternoon against Crowder College and at 1 p.m. Sunday against Mineral Area College.
