Sept. 9, 1960 — April 1, 2026

Mike Garris, 65, of Roland, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. He was born on Sept. 9, 1960, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Nada Louise (Groves) Gibson and Albert Leon Garris.

A memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was a carpet installer, enjoyed visiting casinos and watching television.

Survivors include his companion, Ella Brown of Muldrow; five sisters, Elizabeth Garris, Mary Gray and Patsy Ruiz of Muldrow, Connie Garris-Miller of Van Buren, Ark., and Cindy Swain of Ozark, Ark.; three brothers, Albert Garris Jr. and Chrystle of Muldrow, Brian Garris of Minnesota, and James McAlester of Muldrow; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Donnie Garris and Rickey Garris.
