Moffett Public Schools had five students compete in the Oklahoma State Science and Engineering Fair (OSSEF) in Stillwater.
These students earned this trip by qualifying through their regional fair: Addilee Armer Animal Science; Blakely Coleman – Mathematics and Computer Systems; Crawford Lenington Behavioral and Social Sciences; Bentley Reichert – Engineering; and Henry Richards – Biochemistry and Chemistry.
Crawford was awarded the American Psychological Association Award, which recognizes outstanding research in psychological sciences.
Bentley was awarded the Department of Defense STEM Leadership award, which recognizes excellence in STEM, as well as problem-solving skills, leadership skills, and determination to overcome challenges throughout the research project.
Addilee was awarded the XploSafe Catalyst Award which recognizes outstanding projects that demonstrate strong scientific curiosity, sound experimental design, and clear application of chemistry.
She also placed second overall in Animal Science in the state of Oklahoma.
All five of these students achieved so much this year by just qualifying for OSSEF.
