April awareness advocates

The Sequoyah County Commissioners signed a proclamation on March 30, designating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month as well as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in the county. The Sequoyah County Coordinated Community Response/Sexual Assault Response Team (CCR/SART) is spearheading the annual awareness campaign. Commissioners, courthouse staff and Sallisaw NOW Coalition joined CCR/SART for the declaration of the proclamations.
