Several Muldrow track athletes place at Clark Bass Invitational

McALESTER — Several Muldrow High School track athletes placed at last Friday’s Clark Bass Invitational, which took place at Hook-Eales Stadium.

Individually for the Bulldogs, Teaguen Collins was the champion in the high jump (5-6), was second in the 400-meter dash (53.7 seconds), was fourth in the long jump (19-9) and was fifth in the 200-meter dash (24.94).

Individually for the Lady Bulldogs, Tiphany Martinez won the 800-meter run (3:04.63), while Emma Fields took gold in both the 1,600-meter run (6:46.96) and in the 3,200-meter run (14:14.85).

As for other ’Dogs, Brayden Roe was seventh in the discus (1032) and eighth in the shot put (38-3), Caden Grinstead was eighth in the 800-meter run (2:31.12), Gabe Smalley was 10th (26.32 seconds) and Zaylenny Williams was 22nd (28.58) in the 200-meter dash, Grinstead was 14th (59.95 seconds) and Linus Pigg was 23rd (1:06.74) in the 400 meter dash and Smalley was 13th (12.98), Williams was 19th (13.3) and Pigg was 28th (14.67) in the 100-meter dash.

As for other Lady Bulldogs, Lilah-Grace Willsey was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles (18.45 seconds), fourth in the 300-meter hurdles (54.51), fourth in the long jump (14-3), Genna Stephenson was fourth in the 1,600-meter run (7:32.27) and in the 3,200-meter run (15:42.08), Martinez was 10th (1:19.82) in the 400-meter dash and Adysen Beller was 10th in the 200-meter dash (34.48), 11th in the long jump (11-7) and 16th in the 100-meter dash (16.18).

In team standings, the Lady Bulldogs were sixth with 50 points, while the ’Dogs were seventh with 25 points.

The junior high portion of meet took place Thursday, with the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs doing well.

Aleigha Sullivan placed third in the 1,600-meter run and fourth in the 800-meter run in the eighth-grade girls division.

In the eighth-grade boys division, Koda Flynn was third in the 800-meter dash and fourth in the 1600-meter run.

In the sixth-grade girls division, Emma Barnes placed third in the long jump, fourth in the 400-meter dash and fifth in the 800-meter run, Kerrislynn Mc-Cleod won the 800-meter run and was sixth in the 400-meter dash and Grace Wofford was fifth in the long jump.

McCleod, Chandler McKinstger, Emily Phillips and Wofford were third in the 400-meter relay.

In the sixth-grade boys division, Carson Rojas won the discus, while Kypton McDonald was the champion in the 200-meter dash, runner-up in the long jump and fourth in 400-meter run.

McDonald, Kaiden Bercher, Oakley Jones and Aiden Walter were third in the 400-meter relay.

The Muldrow High School track teams will return to action in the Checotah Crossroads Classic which will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at Ogle Field.
