The Cherokee Nation Emergency Management Team is hosting free Disaster Preparedness presentations for Cherokee community organizations and citizens from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on April 21, at the Muldrow Cherokee Community Organization (MCCO) building.
Led by Community Preparedness Coordinator Bradley Wagnon and co-presented by Community Preparedness Coordinator Darrell Gaches, these presentations are designed to help individuals, families and communities prepare for emergencies before they happen.
Emergency Management Analyst and Incident Management Team Lead Madison Long is also working alongside Gadugi Corps staff to strengthen disaster response readiness across our communities.
Attendees will learn how to prepare their home and family for disasters, emergency planning basics, community response coordination, and practical steps you can take today.
