Funeral services for Gladys Louise Jackson, 94, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jackson was born on Dec. 25, 1931, in Hinton to John Oliver White and Edith Grace (Stovall) White. She passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, in Vancouver, Wash.
She worked at the Sequoyah County Health Department before retiring. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Dwight and Andy Jackson of Sallisaw and Randy and Helen Jackson of Brush Prairie, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmie Sam Jackson; on, Jimmie Sam Jr.; and two sisters, Bernice Borden and Ruby Murphy.
Pallbearers were Jimmie Casebolt, James Jackson, Daniel Jackson and David Jackson.
