– Backyard Poultry Workshop. Sequoyah County Ag Extension Educator Todd Trennepohl, also known as “The Chicken Whisperer,” will discuss best practices for successful backyard poultry production.
• April 14 – Poultry Waste Management program focusing on commercial poultry production. Additional details will be provided soon.
• April 17–18 – OHCE Annual Quilt Show and Fundraising Lunch.
• April 28, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Unwanted Pesticide Disposal Event. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture will collect and properly dispose of unwanted chemicals.
Youth Programming
•March 30, 5:30 p.m. – Lead With Your Voice: Speech Contest Preparation – Part One. Sequoyah County FCS/4-H Extension Educator Rony Roberts will provide guidance on selecting topics, organizing speeches, and delivering effective presentations.
