Rebecca Ecker, “a true farm girl at heart,” looks at the world in a way she encourages everyone to view their surroundings — positively.
An author, educator, speaker and newspaper columnist, Ecker captures the beauty of her floral garden through photography, finding inspiration and reflection in each snapshot.
She has now paired her photographs with writings from promise to reflection, harmony to resilience for her new book, “May You Seek Beauty Wherever You Look.” The book is not just a collection of photographs and words, but a gentle reminder to cherish the beauty that often goes unnoticed, beckoning readers to be inspired, to grow and to find joy in the everyday moments that make life truly beautiful.
On April 10, Ecker will at the Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library in Sallisaw for a book signing, and will present a short inspirational talk. Her visit will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
