Funeral services for Almeta Morrison, 82 of Uniontown, Ark., were held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2026, at Short Baptist Church.
Burial followed at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Ark.
Mrs. Morrison was born on Oct. 1, 1943, to Ted and Beulah (Cochran) Armer. She passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at her home.
She was a homemaker and a 1961 graduate of Muldrow High School.
Survivors include her husband of over 62 years, James “Cotton” Morrison of the home; two daughters, Pam Morrison of Van Buren and Stacy Winters and husband Jodie of Alma, Ark.; two brothers, Doyle Armer of Muldrow and Clinton Armer of Sequim, Wash.; two grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; one sister-in-law, Loretta Bryan; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Juanita Coleman; and brother, Walter Lee Armer.
Pallbearers were Nick Turner, Tyler Turner, Eric Coleman, Eddie Armer, Adam Armer and Anthony Morrison.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Winstead, Donnie Hoosier, Spud Turner, Paul Barnett, Terry Kennedy, Alvin Loomis, Dennis Armer, Greg Morrison and Mike Morrison.
