Gans powerlifters compete at state meet

EL RENO — Two Gans Grizzlies powerlifters competed at the Class B, Division II State Meet, which took place last Thursday through Saturday.

In the high school division, Anthony Vasquez was fifth at 181 pounds with a total lift of 1,315 pounds.

In the eighth-grade division, heavyweight powerlifter Alejandro Martinez was eighth as he lifted a total of 910 pounds.
