Central powerlifters place at state meet last weekend

EL RENO — The Central Tigers had a few powerlifters place at last weekend’s Class A, Division II State Meet, which took place last Thursday through Saturday.

In the high school division, Braxton Prewett was 13th at 220 pounds with a total lift of 1,100 pounds even.

Riley Walters, competing in the freshmen division, was 10th at 132 pounds with a total of 600 pounds even lifted.

In the eighth-grade division, Jaxton Poindexter was 18th at 145 pounds as he lifted a total of 645 pounds.
