Audrey Octavia “Tava” (Grinstead) Scott, 86, of Roland, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She was born on Oct. 8, 1939, in Pope County, Ark., to Velva Okla (Long) Grinstead and William Vernon Grinstead.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She married Harold Gene Scott on Dec. 27, 1957, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2021.
She worked as a secretary at Gans School, as well as serving as the secretary for the Town Administrator of Roland. She enjoyed crafting and cherished the precious moments spent with her family.
Survivors are three daughters, Carlene Roe of Muldrow, Sherry Cantrell and Doug of Roland, and Christina Walters of Rogers, Ark.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lee Newkirk: and one son-in-law, Charles Roe.
