Seven election precincts have been moved to different locations for the upcoming June 16 election, according to Sequoyah County Election Board Secretary Ruby Brunk.
According to Brunk, the following precincts will now vote at a new site:
• Precinct 103, which previously voted at the Muldrow High School gymnasium, will now vote at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, located on Caddo Street
• Precinct 106, which previously voted at Liberty Public School, will now vote at Swon Road Baptist Church, located across the street from the school
• Precinct 107, which had voted at Moffett School, has been moved to TheBod Church, 109B E. Ray Fine Boulevard in Roland
• Precinct 203, which previously voted at McKey Baptist Church, will now vote at Sequoyah County Water District #8, 3520 W. Cherokee Avenue in Sallisaw
• Precinct 207, which had voted at Marble City Hall, has been moved to the Marble City Community Center, 101 S. Main Street
• Precinct 309, which previously voted at Nicut Fire Department, will now vote at Sallie Byrd Sevenstar Community Building, 474894 U.S. Highway 101 in Muldrow
• Precinct 310, which previously voted at Gans City Hall, will now vote at Gans Assembly of God Church, located across the street from city hall Polling locations for all other precincts remain unchanged.
The changes came following the election board’s mapping project and updating of voter records.
Voters who need to make changes to their name, address or political affiliation, or who have questions about voter information are asked to call the election board at 918-7752614.
