Roland Lady Rangers powerlifting duo qualifies for state

FAIRVIEW — Both Roland Lady Rangers 143-pound powerlifters Paisley Davis and Mira Reagan qualified for the Class 2A State Meet, which took place Monday in Durant.

At the Class 2A Regional Meet, both Davis and Reagan made the top 10.

Davis was sixth with a total of 630 pounds lifted, while Mira Reagan placed eighth as she lifted a total of 605 pounds.

The high school boys powerlifters will be idle until their regional meets this week.

The Muldrow Bulldogs will next hit the weights at the Class 3A Regional Meet at 9 a.m. Friday in Hartshorne.

The Rangers will return to action in the Class 2A Regional Meet at 9 a.m. Friday in Muskogee.

The Central Tigers will begin their postseason at the Class A Regional Meet at 9 a.m. Friday in Hartshorne.

The Gans Grizzlies will start their postseason with the Class B, Division II Regional Meet at 9 a.m. Saturday in Hartshorne.
