Doctrines, Deceptions and Demons
Christians Don’t Be Deceived
By Shirley R. Watts,

“For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds” (II John 7-10).

Have you said this? “It makes no difference what you believe just as long as you are sincere”? Being “sincere” does not get it! A “deceiver” teaches false doctrine and leads people into “wrong living.”

“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also” (I John 2:18-23).

Do you know what you believe and why you believe it? Do you live what you say you believe? Does it really make a difference what you believe? Yes! It makes all the difference in the world, it is the difference between life and death.

Today, all around us on every corner there seems to be a false teacher with a false doctrine in the churches. They are inviting true believers to participate with them in the things of the world, In other words they are luring them into sin and away from the truth of God. You are a target if you are not abiding in the Word of God and in prayer daily, you will be caught in the trap of Satan. So how do we recognize a demon with his false doctrine and deception?

The marks of a false teacher: They are in the church, but not of the church. They are here to deceive God’s faithful people. They hear the true doctrine, but do not accept it, then they begin to teach their own false doctrines. They are not true believers. He denies the faith. If you are born again, you know the truth ( I John 2:20,27). The false teachers claim that God gave them special knowledge from a special anointing. They believe they live on a higher plain than anybody else. Today, not all preachers, and teachers who claim to be Christian are truly Christian in their beliefs. Only if he confesses that Jesus Christ is God come in the flesh, are they true believers. If they deny this they belong to the Antichrist. He tries to deceive the faithful. If you do not know what you believe, you will be deceived. Christian, can you detect the counterfeit and separate the teachings of Christ from the false teachings of antichrist? Christian you must depend on the leadership and teaching of the Holy Spirit that lives within you. The false teachers try to take the place of the Holy Spirit. Christians are led astray because they are not abiding in the Spirit. True believers are not to let them in our homes to explain their views. Why? They will plant false seed in the mind and Satan will water and nourish it to produce fruit.

Beware of the false teachers, know what you believe and live it. Be alert! Be Strong! Be Praying! Be Studying! Why? because Satan will definitely seek you out and try to lure you into sin.. What can you do? Slap the counterfeit with the truth of God, by quoting the Name of Jesus Christ who loves us, who is the Son of the Living God, who came in the flesh and now abides in our hearts. See how long Satan hangs around. It is very important to know what you believe and believe what you know. Being sincere is good if you know the truth! Know Jesus! Know the truth.
