OKLAHOMA CITY — Brushy Wrestling Club member Layton Cross won the state title at 120 pounds in the age 10-and-younger division at the 2026 Oklahoma Wrestling Association (OKWA) State Tournament, which took place last Friday and Saturday at O.G.&E. Pavilion — a.k.a. “The ‘New’ Big House.”
All total, 14 members placed at state.
Avie Lamp (74 pounds, girls age 10-and-younger division), Liliana Guerrero (67, girls age 8-andyounger) and Rylan Henry (90, age 10-andyounger) were all state runners-up.
Finishing third were Abel Glover (76 pounds, age 10-and-younger division), Isaac Glover (75, age 8-and-younger) and McKynlee Cantrell (170, girls age 10-andyounger).
Tristen Cross was fourth at 96 pounds in the age 12-and-younger division, while Ruby Johnson was fifth at 88 pounds in the girls age 10-and-younger division.
Cooper Price was sixth at 86 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division, while Camryn Johnson (155 pounds, girls age 15-and-younger division), Ezlynn Bentley (40, girls age 6-and-younger), Jessie Bentley (170, girls age 10-and-younger) and Olivia Johnson (130, girls age 8-and-younger) all finished eighth.
