University of the Ozarks Eagles women’s basketball team has successful weekend

It was a successful weekend for former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Kennedi “Kiki” Wight and the University of the Ozarks Eagles women’s basketball team as they got a pair of road victories, winning 7858 over LeTourneau last Friday night in Longview, Texas, then beating Centenary College 75-55 last Saturday night in Shreveport, La.

In the win over Le-Tourneau, Wight scored 10 points, grabbed a rebound and had an assist and a steal.

In the victory over Centenary, had nine points to go with seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

The Eagles (11-12 overall, 6-8 in SCAC Conference play) will return to action this weekend for their final two regular-season games of the year, both at Mabee Gymnasium in Clarksville, Ark. — at 7:30 p.m. Friday against the University of Dallas and at 6 p.m. Saturday against Austin College.
