Funeral services for Leslie Zebbie Strong, 77, of Roland, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service Inc.
Mr. Strong was born on July 11, 1948, in South Bend, Ind., to Nora (Summers) Cantrell and Floyd Raymond Strong. He passed away on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.
He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army, and worked as a forklift driver at Whirlpool Manufacturing and as a truck driver for OK Foods. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, and classic cars.
He married Joyce (Miller) Strong on July 9, 1969, in Stilwell.
Survivors are his wife, Joyce, of the home; daughter, Stacy Neal and Charlie of Eufaula; brother, Raymond Strong of Muldrow; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four siblings: Ellie I.Strong, Geraldine White, Deloris J. Kelley and Goldie M. Strong.
Pallbearers were Rickey West, Gregory Kelley, Rickey Laster, Mike Laster, Eddie Rogers and James Reed.
