Graveside services for Evelyn (Johnson) Henry, 95, of Sallisaw were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Henry was born on March 22, 1930, in Sallisaw to Arlo Johnson and Nancy (Mitchel) Johnson. She died on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, in Sallisaw.
She worked for an attorney and at the Sequoyah Theater, and sold Avon. Her and her husband, Lloyd Henry, owned and operated Henry’s Laundry for many years, and finally she became a provider for the elderly.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd James Henry II of Sallisaw; daughter, Ima Lou Lattimore of Sallisaw; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Arthur Johnson, William Johnson, James Johnson, Richard Johnson, Charlie Johnson and Elmer Johnson; and one sister, Mattie (Johnson) Phillips.
