Carol Hurst, 65, of Sallisaw, died on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in Sallisaw. She was born on Dec. 22, 1960, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to David Joseph Hurst and Janice Donnell (Peterson) Hurst.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She worked as a house cleaner. Survivors include one son, Julian Ziegler of Burley, Idaho; stepdaughter, Beverly Christopherson of Muldrow; stepson, Thomas Christopherson of Fort Smith, Ark.; two brothers, Mike Hurst and Dave Hurst; six grandchildren; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her companion, Keith Christopherson.
