Muldrow heifer among champions named at angus show

Angus enthusiasts led 214 entries at the 2026 Cattlemen’s Congress Super Point Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, Jan. 6-10 in Oklahoma City.

Jirl Buck, Madill, and Garrett Cloud, Yale, evaluated the 151 females, 31 bulls and two cow-calf pairs. Chuck Brost, Larkspur, Colo., evaluated 12 phenotype and genotype bulls and 18 phenotype and genotype females.

CMFM Solid Gold M066 claimed the grand champion bull title after first earning the junior champion title. Cross Creek Farms Inc., Brimfield, Ill., and Circle M Farms, Rockwall, Texas, own the March 2024 son of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838.

Piper Cates, Modoc Ind., owns the reserve grand champion bull. SSF Sanctuary 1175 is a January 2025 son of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 and was first named junior calf champion.

Larry and Joe Horstman, West Lafayette, Ind.; Weston Haag, Plymouth, Ind.; and Rhett Rodgers, Greenfield, Ind., own the grand champion female. CB WB Princess 419 is a March 2024 daughter of PVF DLX King Pin 0058 and first won junior champion – division 2.

Josie Phillips, Maysville, Ky., claimed reserve grand champion female. JCC Lola 411 is a March 2024 daughter of BRDG Mahogany Prime 904B and first won reserve junior champion – division 2.

SE Rita K105 won grand champion cow-calf pair. Sawyer Eastridge, Taswell, Ind., owns the April 2022 daughter of RVF/SE Captain H103. An April 2025 heifer calf sired by Destinys Back In Black 320 completes the winning pair.

Gillespies Black Pearl won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Gillespie Angus Ranch, Leedey, owns the March 2023 daughter of PVF Blacklist 7077. A November 2025 heifer calf sired by Conley A 1 is at side.

Boyd Beef Cattle, May’s Lick, Ky., owns the grand champion phenotype and genotype bull. Boyd Prosperity 5066 is the February 2025 son of Ellingson Prosper and first claimed division 2 champion.

G V F Ranger won reserve grand champion phenotype and genotype bull. Alexandra Duckworth, Greeneville, Tenn., owns the February 2025 son of G V F Premium Blend. He first claimed division 2 reserve champion.

Kaylan Kiser, Proctor, Texas, owns the grand champion phenotype and genotype female. Wilks Rita 4218 is the January 2024 daughter of Connealy Craftsman and first claimed division 4 champion.

Brumfield Rita 5012 won reserve grand champion phenotype and genotype female. Brumfield Angus, Sawyer, Mich., owns the February 2025 daughter of KA Kindred. She first claimed division 2 champion.

REIB Phyllis 512 won junior heifer calf champion, Division 3, at the 2026 Cattlemen’s Congress Super Point Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, Jan. 7-10 in Oklahoma City. Carlee Clark, Muldrow, owns the winning heifer.
