It was a rough weekend trip to Texas for former Muldrow Lady Bulldog Kennedi “Kiki” Wight and the University of the Ozarks Eagles women’s basketball team.
The Eagles lost 85-61 to Texas Lutheran University on Friday night in Sequin, Texas, then fell 87-74 to Concordia University on Sunday afternoon in Austin, Texas.
In the loss to Texas Lutheran University, Wight scored 10 points, grabbed four rebounds, had two steals and an assist.
In the loss to Concordia University, Wight had seven points, four rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots and two steals.
The Eagles (5-8) will have a pair of home games at Mabee Gymnasium in Clarksville, Ark., this upcoming weekend as they will entertain the University of St. Thomas at 7:30 p.m. Friday and will welcome Colorado College at 2 p.m. Sunday.
