Funeral services for Richard Odell Qualls, 75, of Roland, were held at 11 a.m. Wed., Jan. 7, 2026, at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
Mr. Qualls was born on Aug. 15, 1950, to Rev. Raymond Odell Qualls and Lona Mae Viles. He died on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026.
He was an ordained deacon in the Free Will Baptist Church for many years. His faith was the foundation of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley Jean Polk; children, Keith and Jennifer Qualls, Tracy and Crystal Qualls and Annetta and Darrell Bailey; brothers, Dale Qualls, Larry Qualls and Andy Qualls, all of Roland, Stephen and Cheryl Qualls of Bokoshe, Tommy and Sharon Qualls of Booneville, Ark., and Terry Qualls and Crystal of Sallisaw; several grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carolyn Qualls; and a granddaughter.
