Central football players honored by District AII-3

Several Central Tigers football players were honored by District AII3 last month.

The Tigers saw three players earn specialized awards as Ryker Miller was named the Running Back of the Year, Gavin Randolph the Wide Receiver of the Year and Braxton Prewett the Defensive Lineman of the Year.

The Tigers saw six more players named to the first-team all-district — quarterback Kiefer Bailey, defensive back Aiden Cawhorn, linebackers Leland Kelsey and Ethan Perez and defensive linemen Mekko Ariza and Mason Blalock.

The Tigers were 6-4 last season and 3-4 in District AII-3 play.
