The Friends of the Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library is holding a membership drive with the first meeting happening at 6 p.m. on January 12, in the library meeting room.

The Friends are a non-profit group that promotes and supports the Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library through volunteering to help with library events, such as the annual Heroes summer reading event and fundraisers, such as the annual garage sale.

Funds raised are used for expenses that fall beyond the library’s operating budget such as the purchase of the library’s outside digital sign and the new chairs for the meeting room.
