Tammy Lynn Southern-Riggs was born on May 20, 1970, to Violet Virginia “Gin” Radford and Gary Lee Southern. She passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, in Brushy.
A celebration of life service is planned for a later date, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Services, Inc.
She married Ronnie Riggs on March 11, 1991, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She worked as a waitress for many years, but her heart was working at McKinney Grocery in Roland. She enjoyed music and gardening.
Survivors are her husband, Ronnie Riggs; daughter, Jennifer Riggs-Williams and David; son, Michael Riggs; her grandchildren; brothers, Gary L. Southern II and David Dority; sisters, Noel Southern, Beulah F. Gibbins and DeAnna Heppner; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elmer Dority II (Junior); and sister, Violet L. Chism.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Williams II, James C. Gibbins, Gary L. Southern III, LJ Heppner, and Jace, Kaid and Nash Riggs.
