It’s a New Day!

It’s a New Day!
A New Year – Happy New Year
By Shirley R. Watts,

“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel” (Isa. 7:14-15). “God with us” (Matthew 1:23).

“And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus” (Luke 1:31-32).

“…for He will save His people from their sins” (Matt 1:21).

“And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and,,,” Luke 2:7 The prophecy had been made, Gabriel appeared to the virgin, the child was born, and “His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.” God is faithful to His promises. You can count on Him!

The day God sent Gabriel to Mary, everything changed. It was a new Day! Sin had ruled the hearts and actions of mankind since the Garden of Eden and it continues today! Mankind began as the highest creation made in the image of God and has lowered themselves to that of animals, committing idolatry and sexual immorality. Mankind has disobeyed God in every way. They did not want His love and refused the truth. When you leave God out of your life you can only go down…to the gutter! The gutter leads to hell!

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, …because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

“Professing to be wise, they became fools, Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator” (Rom 1:24-25).

“For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due” (Rom 1:26-27).

Man has not change! He continues to deliberately rebel against God. Jesus came into the world to preach truth, save sinners, rescuing man from the prison of sin. Man is self-indulged! Man has gone into the gutter of sexual immorality. Anything goes sexually, the most immoral society today and God will judge it.

This was going on when Jesus was born and also on the cross. Such love that God has shown mankind.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them” (Rom 1:28-32).

A New Day has come! Experience it!!!

Man has not changed. Will he change? Some will embrace the Truth, others will not, But, there is a way, man can change only when he places his faith in Jesus Christ! Only then will he experience life. Life without Christ…is not life, it is only existence, and it leads to Hell… the kingdom of Satan who holds you prisoner now.

Unbeliever

You need Jesus Christ, (John 3:16) You are rebelling against God. You are without excuse! Without Jesus Christ in your heart, you are lost! Lost persons go to Hell at the Great White Throne Judgment.

Yes, a New Day has come! Experience it!!!

Christian

Are you sharing Christ? Are you sharing the consequences of the deliberate rebellion?

In other words, are you faithful in service? Do you love Jesus Christ?

God’s Love… sent Jesus into this world. Glory to God!

Happy New Year!
