Funeral services for William Lee “Bill” Farkas, 83, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, at Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
Burial was at Mitchell Cemetery in Gans under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Farkas was born on Oct. 27, 1942, in Alliance, Ohio, to William Lee Farkas Sr. and Isabelle (Libert) Farkas. He died on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, in Muldrow.
He married Patricia Ann Farkas on June 8, 1964, in Stilwell. She preceded in death on March 24, 2008.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked as a concrete finisher.
Survivors include three daughters, Tina Harris of Mansfield, Ark., Linda Duncan of Muldrow and Kathy and Steven Barnes of Sallisaw; one son, Preston and Stephanie Farkas of Muldrow; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Amelung of Austintown, Ohio and Regina Stiffler of Carrollton, Ohio; two brothers, Steve Farkas of Salem, Ohio and Jim Farkas of Hanoverton, Ohio; and other family and friends.
Pallbearers were Shane Copeland, Cody Harris, Michael Duncan, Timothy Farkas, Steven Barnes and Stott Williams.
