Jan. 19, 1949 – Dec. 1, 2025

Funeral services for Richard M. Carter, 76, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Burial was at Memory Garden Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory- Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Carter was born on Jan. 19, 1949, in Belvidere, Ill., to Allen Mannis Carter and Elizabeth (Kincaid) Carter. He died on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025, in Muldrow.

He married SuzAnne (Gilstrap) Carter on Aug. 18, 1977, in Muldrow. She preceded him in death on March 24, 2024.

Survivors include one son, Rick Carter of Van Buren, Ark.; one granddaughter; and other family members and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.
