A memorial service for Paula Jo (Wood) Cain, 70, of Sallisaw, was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Cain was born on October 31, 1955, in Bartlesville, to Rosalee Ann (Jones) Wood and Clyde Kenneth Wood. She passed away on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025, in Tulsa.

She married Randall Lynn “Randy” Cain on Jan. 30, 1976.

She served as an educator for Sallisaw Public Schools.

On Jan. 30, 1976, she married Randall Lynn “Randy” Cain in Coffeyville, Kan. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2022.

Survivors are two sons, Casey Cain and Amanda of Coweta and Kyle Cain and Holly of Broken Arrow; five grandchildren; three sisters, Karen Gibson and Steve of Pawnee, Janis Whitfield and Rick of Newton, Kan., and Tamra Olson and Don of Afton; along with other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Andy Lynn Cain.
