Brushy Wrestling Club members do well at Black Diamond Classic

Several Brushy Wrestling Club members placed at last Saturday’s Black Diamond Classic, which took place at Sallisaw High School’s Paul Post Field House.

Abel Glover won two titles, the 76-pound title in the open 10-andyounger division and the 73-76-pound championship in the open 12-andyounger division.

Liliana Guerrero placed in three weight classes, winning two of them. She was the 75-pound champion in the open age 8-andyounger division and the winner in the 57-67 pound division in the girls age 10-and-younger division, while she was fourth at 64 pounds in the open age 8-andyounger division.

Two more members also were multiple-placers.

Isaac Glover won the 75-pound title in the open age 8-and-younger division and was runner- up at 76 pounds in the open age 10-andyounger division.

Tristan Price (6164 pounds, open age 10-and-younger division), Cooper Price (80-86 pounds, open age 15-and-younger division), Avie Lamp (74-78 pounds, girls age 10-and-younger division) and Ruby Johnson (88 pounds, girls age 10-and-younger division) also won championships.

At 115-122 pounds in the girls 10-and-younger division, McKynlee Cantrell was first and Jessie Bentley was second, while Cantrell was runner-up at 115-123 pounds in the girls age 12-and-younger division.

Pattrick Fletcher was runner-up at 92 pounds in the open age 12-andyounger division and at 92-98 pounds in the open age 15-and-younger division.

At 102-110 pounds in the girls age 15-andyounger division, Hayley Bentley was second and Rocklyn Johnson was third.

William Harrison (43 pounds, open age 8-andyounger division) and Ezlynn Bentley (40-46 pounds, girls age 6-andyounger division) were runners-up.

Hattie Price (40-43 pounds, open age 6-andyounger division) and Paisley Edgington (62 pounds, girls age 8-andyounger division) were third.

At 57-67 pounds in the girls age 10-andyounger, Alyvia Barrett was third and Kylie Mc-Inerney was fourth.
