Graveside service for J.B. Powell, 75, of Tulsa, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at Buffington Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Powell was born on June 7, 1950, in Tulsa to Herbert Powell and Virginia (Keifer) Powell. He died on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, in Bartlesville.
He worked as a produce manager at a local grocery store.
He married Debbie Leigh on Nov. 9, 1974, in Tulsa.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Powell of the home; one son, Jason and Kristina of Tulsa; one daughter, Rhonda and Randy Cameron of Collinsville; two sisters, Judy Manus of Haskell and Lisa McDade of Arkansas; five grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Linda Wheeler.
