Funeral services for Elton Wayne Rogers, 96, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw.
Burial was at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Rogers was born on Aug. 21, 1929, in Scranton, Ark., to Buell Raymond Rogers and Bonnie M. (Spicer) Rogers. He died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
He worked as an accountant for Sallisaw Ford and purchasing agent for the City of Sallisaw.
He married Patricia Pauline “Pat” Rogers on Dec. 4, 1952, in Muldrow. She preceded him in death on Aug. 1, 2009.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Koscher of Oklahoma City; several grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Doug Rogers.
