Mrs. Jones’ class at Moffett School had an incredible experience recently during a Virtual Author Visit with Annie Barrows and Sophie Blackall. The class was thrilled to connect with the creative minds behind the delightful new book “Stella and Marigold: Mermaids and Mix-Ups.” Highlights of the Zoom session included meeting the author and illustrator in person (virtually), learning about the book’s creative process, taking memorable class photos with Annie and Sophie, and gaining insight into storytelling and Illustration. The students were captivated by the authors’ discussion of their collaborative work and the inspiration behind Stella and Marigold’s adventures. Their enthusiasm and curiosity made this an unforgettable literary experience. A special thank you to Ann Barrows and Sophie Blackall for taking the time to inspire young readers.
