Muldrow Burger Barn has announced that they will be hosting a free community Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m to 3 p.m., or until they run out of food.
“With the state of the world, we are just trying to do something small to relieve some stress on families in our community,” owner Tina Odom, said.
Odom said the restaurant will serve turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, a vegetable, rolls and dessert. She is asking for area businesses to take part as well by donating food items, plastic ware, paper plates, napkins, drinks and other items.
“No donation is too small,” she said. “Thank you in advance for your donation.”
“Everyone is welcome. Donations of supplies or monetary donation are greatly appreciated to help us provide to as many people possible, but it is not required. It is 100% free to everyone,” she concluded.
Muldrow Burger Barn is located 903 E. Shawntel Smith Blvd. Anyone interested in making a donation is asked to contact Odom or her manager, Misty, at 918-503-5042.
